Carvan Group

Our Story

  • 1965

The story of “Carvan” began over half a century ago, in 1965, when our founder Mr. Zia ud Din (late) initiated a small restaurant at Multan Road to serve a major travel route of Lahore. Since then the brand name of ‘Carvan' has been deeply rooted in the vicinity.

  • 1971

Zia ud Din was soon joined by his son, the late Haji M. Sabeeh: a visionary who incorporated the ideology of “diversification”, to prove the company’s mettle in various sectors of trade.

In 1971, he established the first steel bar outlet, Carvan Traders, which earned an esteemed reputation.

This was soon joined by the cement distribution agency, Ahmed Enterprises, offering wholesale and retail services for major cement companies in Pakistan.

  • 2007

Carrying forward the family’s prodigious legacy, the Samee-ud-Din (late) took his father’s vision to another level, and launched Carvan Filling Station in 2007.

This first of its kind CNG filling station was designed and capacitated with state-of-the-art machinery; making it another feather in the cap of Carvan’s legacy.

  • 2020

In the second decade of the 21st century, the company successfully established Carvan Cold Storage: a processing and storage unit for fruits and vegetables.

The structure stands on zero-tolerance policy for quality standards, and along with all other projects it unifies the traits of honesty, integrity and care which today form the “Carvan Group”.

  • 2024

Today, Umair Samee, our Managing Director, leads this generational business with a strategic vision, adeptly managing all four enterprises and ensuring their continued success.

Notably, the Carvan filling station has recently signed an agreement with Go Petroleum, further solidifying our commitment to growth and excellence in service.
